| I. Meeting of Basque Shepherds who emigrated to America |

Artzain Mundua, last the arrangements of the Ist. Meeting of Basque Shepherds who emigrated to America. The activities foreseen for this new meeting will take place on the localities of Aldude and Gernika between September 29 and October 1.
One hopes to be provided with the presence of more of half a thousand of shepherds proceeding from all the Basque territories of Iparralde and Hegoalde, principally of Bizkaia, Nafarroa and Behenafarroa.
With this act the shepherds will be able to recall his experiences in the vast American continent and Artzain Mundua, together with the localities of Aldude and Gernika they are provided with the opportunity to offer them a fully deserved recognition to his work.

| PRESENTATION OF THE BOOK
SUNBILLA, EMIGRANTS’ TOWN |

The next 1st of May, in the town hall of the Navarre’s town of Sunbilla, it will take place the presentation of the book Sunbildarrak Ameriketan (1898-1993) Sunbilla, pueblo de emigrantes – (Sunbilarras in America (1898-1993) Sunbilla, emigrants’ town) written by shepherds of this town.
They have almost been 100 years of emigration of 313 young sunbildarras to America, and the testimonies of those shepherds that still live in Sunbilla are gathered in this book.
